Utah is a gorgeous state with tons of awesome food options you should check out!
I've been lucky enough to spend a lot of time in Utah. In 2021 I lived there for about 5 weeks with my friend Amanda. Jake and I visited in February of 2022 and again in September. Utah is one of the most beautiful states in my opinion, the landscape is so diverse and unique.
In this post I compiled some of my favorite Comida Vibes from Utah!

Aww Honey Honey
One of Utah’s most famous products is honey, and you have to try it! Honey is one of my favorite foods, and Utah’s bee’s know how to make it right. Instead of buying at the grocery store try to find a local farm or market to buy this tasty treat!
Policy Kings
This isn’t it a must eat, but a must drink! Policy King’s Brewery in Cedar City is a fun local brewery with lots of yard games; a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the day while also drinking some great beer. Brewed right in Utah, these beers have local flavors and a delicious taste. If you make your way to Cedar City be sure to stop by for a pint.
Palette Bakery

Palette Bakery in Cedar City is one of the best. I’m a pastry and ice cream aficionado and trust me, Palette Bakery is one you cannot miss. The shop has the most delicious cookies, brownies, cakes and baked goods, but what you truly must try is the ice cream.
From funky flavors like jalapeno raspberry to the classics like chocolate chip you are in for a treat. The fun flavors are not only exciting to try but the ice cream is simply top notch. Hard packed and creamy, the ice cream is full of flavor and the consistency is exactly what you need on a hot summer’s day (or if you’re a New England gal like myself, a cold winter’s night will also suffice). My favorite flavor was Salted Caramel Chocolate Lavender, and I would always pair with a lighter flavor like French Vanilla Chai Latte. Whatever you choose, you cannot go wrong!
Angelica’s Mexican Grill

Angelica’s Mexican Grill in Saint George is where all the locals eat. The line is often out the door, but for good reason. The friendly staff and traditional Mexican cooking is well worth the wait.
The owner Angelica opened the restaurant 8 years ago after working in Salt Lake City as a dishwasher. After moving to the United States from Mexico, Angelica cooks up authentic Mexican food that will leave your mouth watering. The tortillas alone will make you want to go back, soft yet crispy, they made every dish that much better. Every meat option is seasoned and cooked to perfection, my personal favorite is the sweet pork topped with the super spicy habanero onion salsa. Next time you’re in Saint George be sure to stop by Angelica’s, you won’t regret it.
There's still so many places in Utah for me to explore! I'm excited for my next adventure to the beehive state!
