Elevate your avocado toast to the next level with these simple ingredients.
I'm currently in an avocado phase, devouring avocado toast for breakfast, and even lunch (whoops). There are so many ways to enjoy avocado toast, and here are a few of my favorites!

1. Add honey and red pepper flakes
This combination of sweet, savory and spicy is one of my favorites! I first tried it when I studied abroad in 2019 (I will stop talking about it when it stops being cool). My friend and I were at a little café in Lagos, Portugal and we were intrigued about the odd sounding combination.
It was some of the most delicious avocado toast I've ever had. I've been obsessed with making this version on sesame bagels lately.
2. Top with cucumber and spread with feta dip
Recently I had the most spectacular everything whole grain bread, so for lunch I decided to spruce it up. I spread on feta dip and mashed avocado. Then I sliced some cucumber, drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled some EBTB (everything but the bagel seasoning). It was the perfect lunch for by the pool!
3. Make it caprese
One of the best versions of avocado toast I make it simple avocado, tomato with balsamic glaze. It's simple and delicious! Add mozzarella and basil for an even better caprese experience!
4. Eggs and tajin
When Jake and I were on the road one of our staples was avocado toast with hard boiled eggs and tajin. It was an easy to make meal that was delicious and also had protein and other nutrients. The tajin also adds a kick of flavor and takes it to the next level!
5. It's all Greek to me
I cannot eat the same meal everyday. It's just not me, I get bored and need something new. That's how I ended up with my tzatziki avocado toast. I got my sourdough nice and toasty then spread on tzatziki, sliced avocado, feta and red pepper flakes. It was so yummy!
6. Switch up the bread
I'm the type of person who get's bored of the same thing over and over again. That's why I will switch up what bread I use. Sometimes it's a bagel, others it's whole wheat, while some days it's a croissant.
Avocado toast is simple and delicious, the perfect breakfast or lunch. I love coming up with new ways to enjoy it. What's your favorite way to make avocado toast?
