My favorite holiday dessert is simple to make and requires just 3 ingredients!
We're in the season when we have party after party to attend. Wondering what dish to bring that will wow everyone, and overbuying obscure ingredients that you'll never use again like goji berries, blue spirulina and ube paste.
This year let's leave the stress and hassle behind by making something simple that everyone loves:
Chocolate + pretzels + M&M's.
This is my favorite holiday treat to bring to party's or make as presents. They're quick and easy to make, plus everyone always love them!
Ingredients:
1. Chocolate

I like to buy all different types of chocolate to make these. Having different options and flavors makes adds more variety, and also makes the dish have a little pop of color! First on the list is always Rolos. In my opinion they're the best for making these, and also the most delicious. Then, I always buy all types of Hershey kisses! Hershey has so many fun flavors that add more color and variety. This year I had sugar cookie, dark chocolate + mint, hot chocolate, and milk + white chocolate cream! Yum :)
2. Pretzels
Use whatever pretzels your little heart desires. I prefer the square snaps, since you can fit more on the tray and the chocolate doesn't fall through when it melts!
3. M&M's
I personally love buying M&M's that are part of the holiday theme. There are usually colors that coincide with the holiday whether that be Christmas, New Years or St. Patrick's Day. But if that's not your vibe, use the classic M&M's or whatever chocolate button you want ;)
Directions:
The directions are as simple as this: unwrap, lay, heat and button!
Pre-heat the oven to the lowest setting: around 170 - 175 degrees Fahrenheit.
Unwrap all that chocolatey goodness!
Lay out the pretzels on an aluminum tray (I usually buy a bunch at the dollar store, and was an reuse them for multiple batches).
Once the pretzels are laid out, top them off with a chocolate.
Then pop those bad guys in the oven for about 5 minutes. Sometimes it takes a little less, or a little longer depending on what type of chocolate you use.
After they're out of the oven drop an M&M on top. Be sure to do this right when they come out of the oven before they cool.
Cool in the refridgerator or if you live in New England like me, leave them in your porch.
Serve them at the party or wrap them up as gifts :)

I love adding little extra's when I box these, this year I used Santa Hershey kisses, and dark chocolate star cookies from Trader Joe's. They also make a great addition to any charchuterie board.
Every year I make a ton of these, and wrap them up as presents. They are adorable in little baggies with ribbon, tins or tiny mason jars. There are so many options to wrap these up and give them as presents to everyone and anyone!
They're simple, quick and delicious making them ideal for the holiday season. Oh and everyone loves them...you'll be lucky if you have any left over ;)
